Well, 2009 is gone and 2010 is here. Sounds funny to say "twenty-ten", but I remember that it felt weird to say "two thousand" 10 years ago when we had been saying "nineteen nineties."
Well, that little disertation has made me feel very old...
I also felt very old last night when I couldn't even stay awake until midnight!! After watching two episodes of LOST and playing a couple of games while watching some of the Dick Clark/Ryan Seacrest countdown, I fell asleep on the sofa around 11:30. Kenny woke me up with a glass of champagne at midnight. We counted down, shared a New Year's kiss, took a sip of champagne, then headed off to bed! Happy New Year!
This past year was an absolute great one, and we hope to make 2010 even better!
