Ben and Ethan have grown so much since we saw them last - 8 months ago! This coming July, Ben will turn 3 and Ethan will turn 1 (their birthdays are only 6 days apart!)!
Mira and Ben had a lot of fun playing together - they played kitchen, sang ring-around-the-rosie, did acrobatics in our livingroom, decorated our sidewalk with chalk, swam at the pool, and toured the zoo together! Ethan was a very content by-stander to most of these antics. He is such a sweet, happy little baby! And, boy, can he EAT! Ha ha ha ha!
So, now for the good stuff:
Ben loved this airplane - we even had to take it outside with us when we played with the sidewalk chalk.
Ben helped me "harvest" some tomatoes for our salad.
Ethan watched through the window and laughed - such a cutie!
Spaghetti!!!
Ready to go to the pool!!
He's so good to snuggle!! I probably spent at least 40% of the weekend doing just this!!
Mira jumping!
Ben jumping!
What good Daddies...that water was way too cold for the Mommies!
Nice action shot!!!
We had to act fast to get these group shots - they were ready to GO!
Headed back to the apartment after swimming.
Ethan didn't even swim, and he was worn out! Later, he refused to go to sleep until some ridiculous hour of the night - we were both in trouble with his Mommy. :)
Late night snack...Ben LOVED the "turkey"!
So chilled out - cute little Baylor Bear!! Recognize this t-shirt?
There's that sweet smile!
Love this shot - Ben was so excited to spy some animal or another...
This picture's for Erika... ;)
Another picture with no humans...
I had to include this entire sequence...Ben is too funny! Mira looks so grown up in these shots... (Boooooo!)
That pretzel is bigger than your head!! Be sure and wash it down with 32 fluid ounces of strawberry Icee!
Feeding the birds - they weren't too hungry by the time we got there.
Erika was not interested in "getting pooped on by a bunch of birds", so Kenny and I took Ben and Mira inside the bird house.
Ethan loved watching the fish - or maybe he was just so excited to get out of his stroller and stand up inside an air conditioned room!
Erika and I talked about how big they look now compared to the pictures of our last visit in September (can you believe that was only 8 months ago!?), and how small we will think they look in this photo when we get together next time! *big sigh*
(Editor's note: the photos that are cropped smaller are courtesy of Erika - thanks! I was able to save them off of Shutterfly - thus the weird cropping)
Now, to start planning our next visit to Lincoln!!!

We had SOOOOO much fun! Thanks, you guys! We miss you already. :( Can't wait to see you again in a few months!
P.S. Ben informed me in the bathtub a few nights ago that Mira's "carwash" (this is what he calls the shower sprayer) is "much better than ours".
